Customs Hold Up

Hello!! As I am always going to be open and transparent, here’s a note from the shipping company.
“Hi Chris,
Good afternoon.
Your shipment is subject for customs exam.”
So yeah, we got flagged. It will take an extra week or 2 for this to get taken care of. It happens, I was lucky my last 2 shipments weren’t in the random checks, but we got it on this one. So, I wanted to let you know what’s going on and I’ll tell you as soon as I this released. It’s in Philadelphia at least :)

Good evening and salutations! I wanted to let you know that I heard from the shipping company and this is what was said:
“Hi Chris,
Happy New Year and I hope you have a great holiday.
Due to the Holiday the cargo is not available yet.
Estimated ETA to Philadelphia is on 01/13.
I will keep monitor your shipment.”
When it hits Philly, it will be sent to me a short ride away and I can start sending to you. November Update

Hello all! I wanted to reach out and let you know where we are at. Seems that when they put the box sticker on, quite a few bubbled. They were fixed and replaced. As such, this is the latest message I got when I asked: “Hey, we were supposed to have the game on the boat by November 17th. Do we have an ETA?”
They said:
“Hi Chris,
The vessel time is 21th,I think Ziv will update to you”
So there we go! I just wanted to keep you informed. We are also developing games for Laughing Rogue and other companies. I can’t wait to show you. We are going to self-fund Gone Hunting which everyone has loved. I am kicking around doing a small Kickstarter once we go to print and see what we can raise from there.
For 2023, we will have Scene of the Crime, Slaughterville’s next entry, a superhero game, and something really…different. We look forward to having you along for the ride! Have fun!

I know...you hate updates. If there's one thing I learned in my 12 years of doing Kickstarter campaigns (and Indiegogo), it's that backers hate updates :) Well, I need to give you this one. I just got this from my freight company:
"Just got booking as attached, cargo will put on one pallet, please check and confirm below schedule,
CFS CUT OFF: NOV.03
ETD NINGBO: NOV.10
ETA PHILADELPHIA, PA: DEC.17(VIA USNYC) – estimated"
That means that it will be in port Dec 17th, and then shipped off to us. Will it make it before Christmas? Not looking likely, but it is definitely going to be here soon!!!! I hope that you don't mind an update like this and once I know more, I will let you know.
Another thing: I will be in Pittsburg, PA this weekend. No, not for a football game, I am going for something awesome!! A board game convention :)
